Communication and Marketing Assistant
My name is Aubree Swenby and I am a Graphic Design and Marketing major with a Communication minor. I am the Study Abroad Communication and Marketing Assistant.
I have not been able to study abroad during my time at UMD, although I do hope to do extensive travel after I am finished with my degree. I have also traveled with my own family. My favorite travel destination so far has been Turks and Caicos because of the wonderful weather and clear blue waters!
Most memorable views during your travels.
My family enjoys going on cruises to tropical places, and my favorite view is seeing all the open water with no land in sight! I also love to see all the mountains in Montana.
What makes you happy?
My family, GOOD FOOD, a solid nap, Christmas, experiencing new places.
What gets me out of bed in the morning?
My morning coffee, FOOD, exciting plans, seeing friends and family.
Best advice to a future study abroad student:
Take advantage of every opportunity and go out of your comfort zone!

Travel to Rome to experience all the Catholic religious history.
