Kim Hurst

Program & Project Specialist

 

Kim Hurst is the Program & Project Specialist for UMD’s International Programs and Services office. Kim is responsible for the financial and project management of UMD's international programs. Her duties include budgeting for the department and study abroad programming, accounts receivable and payable, student study abroad billing, and departmental hiring. She is a member of the national Higher Education International Business Officers (HEIBO) organization and serves on their annual conference planning committee.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Spanish & Latin American Studies from UW-Green Bay with minors in International Business and Accounting. In college, Kim studied abroad at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Upon her return, she served as a study abroad ambassador to advocate for studying abroad. Kim is an avid traveler who hopes to inspire others to experience new places and cultures.
