My name is Morgan and I am majoring in aAccounting with minor studies in Finance and Psychology. I am currently a senior at UMD and will be graduating Spring 2025. My study abroad experience was at the University of Stirling in Stirling, Scotland during the fall 2022 semester. During my time abroad I was also able to travel in and around Scotland as well as a few other surrounding European countries. Outside of my travels, I am a dog lover, crafter, and sweet treat enthusiast. I am excited to assist other students in beginning their study abroad journey this school year!
Most memorable views during your travels.
The Isle of Skye and outskirt islands of northern Scotland, specifically the topmost point of the Quiraing that overlooks the green mountainous area of Skye. And of course, the highland cows!
What makes you happy?
Spending time near any body of water and finding fun rocks and shells on the beach.
What gets me out of bed in the morning?
My morning coffee with a side of reality TV.
Best advice to a future study abroad student:
Take the chance and try everything! Live your study abroad to the fullest and experience everything you can that your host city/country has to offer because you don’t know when or if you will be back.
The next thing on your bucket list?
I would love to do more domestic travel around the U.S. and explore more national parks.
