How to register for UMD Courses while you're gone
OneStop Student Services will notify you of your registration time via email. In most cases, you'll register for classes for the following term while you're still abroad.
Your personal registration time is assigned by One Stop. Both completed and in-progress credits are used in assigning registration times. Watch for an email from One Stop with registration details prior to UMD registration times. For questions, contact One Stop Student Services.
Have a hold on your student account?
UMD Study Abroad cannot remove student holds. If you have a hold on your student account, you will not be able to register for the following semester at UMD. You are responsible for clearing holds on your account, even when you are abroad. You can see information about holds on your record in MyU. There, you can find the reason and impact of a hold, how to resolve it, and whom to contact if you have questions.
