How to register for UMD Courses while you're gone

OneStop Student Services will notify you of your registration time via email. In most cases, you'll register for classes for the following term while you're still abroad.

Registration times are assigned by One Stop. Both completed and in-progress credits are used in assigning registration times. Towards the end of the term abroad, (Nov.–Dec. for fall, Apr.–May for spring), keep your eye out for emails from OneStop Student Services. You won't want to miss your registration time. For questions, contact One Stop Student Services.

Have a hold on a student account?

UMD Study Abroad cannot remove student holds. If you have a hold on your student account, you will not be able register for the following semester. You are responsible for clearing holds on your account, even when you are abroad. Reach out to the appropriate advisors to resolve holds.
