Briana Litz is the Associate Director of International Programs and Services and has over ten years of experience working in international education. Her duties include supporting faculty during the creation and implementation of faculty-led programs and increasing the number of students participating in international opportunities.
She received her B.S. degree in History with a minor in Journalism and her M.Ed. specializing in Student Affairs from South Dakota State University. During her graduate studies, Briana participated in a faculty-led program through Kent State University. This program focused on creating and implementing faculty-led programs for undergraduate students and traveled to the Republic of Ireland and Italy.
After completing her Master’s degree, Briana worked as the Education Abroad Advisor at South Dakota State University where she contributed to doubling the number of students who participated in international programs. During this time, she co-led three incoming freshmen programs to Berlin, Germany. Briana also participated in a 4-week intensive German language program in Berlin, Germany through the Goethe-Institut.
Briana loves to travel internationally and explore the culture and landscape through backpacking. She looks forward to supporting students and faculty throughout their international journeys.
