Hello, my name is Evin Kolbjornsen and I am a senior at UMD majoring in Business Management and minoring in International Business and Marketing. I studied abroad in Zagreb, Croatia at the Zagreb School of Economics and Business Management. I enjoyed every second of my time out there and would do it all over again. I'm excited to share my experiences and encourage others to take the leap as I did.

Most memorable views during your travels?
The beautiful Malta coastline, Croatian sunsets in Dubrovnik, and the Roman Colosseum.

What makes you happy?
I enjoy hiking, playing/watching sports with friends, movies, skiing, cooking, and traveling.

What gets me out of bed in the morning?
Egg Avocado Toast and lots of watermelon.

Best advice to a future study abroad student:
The best advice I could give is to not be afraid to say yes in intimidating situations. Studying abroad can definitely be a daunting idea at first—but saying yes to it can change your life, as it did for me.

The next thing on your bucket list?
The next thing on my bucket list is to travel to Norway and learn more about the culture and my family's history.
