My name is Jaidyn and I’m majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Spanish. I hope to attend medical school after graduating from UMD. I studied abroad in Bilbao, Spain at the University of Deusto during the spring 2023 semester. I made so many incredible friends, made connections with great professors, and had the time of my life traveling around Europe. I am very excited to help and encourage anyone and everyone interested in having their own study abroad experience.
Most memorable views during your travels.
Either the waterfalls at Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia, or the sunset over the rooftops in Portugal.
What makes you happy?
National parks, good friends, and fall weather.
What gets me out of bed in the morning?
My morning tea and the excitement of the day ahead.
Best advice to a future study abroad student:
Have an open mind and make as many connections as possible!
The next thing on your bucket list?
To travel somewhere in Central or South America to experience the nature and cultures there.
