Levi Drevlow manages UMD's portfolio of summer, semester, and year-long programs in Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
His journey into the field of international education started in 2012 when he moved to rural South Korea to teach English. After two years of this enriching experience, his desire to encourage similar eye-opening experiences led him to the Office of International Programs at UWS, and then to his current role in UMD's International Programs and Services office.
He's actively involved with the NAFSA network of international educators, Diversity Abroad, and The Forum on Education Abroad to stay up to date with best practices across the field of education abroad. Study abroad site visits to locations in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain have provided first-hand knowledge in these particular programs.
