Quinn Gregor

Peer Advisor

My name is Quinn and I am currently a senior at UMD. I am a double major in Education and Spanish Studies with a minor in Psychology. Growing up, I was a third-culture kid that grew up living in New Delhi, India for four years and in Nairobi, Kenya for three years. I took a gap year in 2021 and moved to Elverum, Norway for a year to learn Norwegian and travel around Scandinavia. This past Spring, I studied abroad in Cusco, Peru. Studying abroad in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I look forward to helping and inspiring others to embark on this amazing experience!

Most memorable views during your travels.
Three of my favorite views are sunrises in the Maasai Mara, Kenya, being on top of the mountains in Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps, and Preikestolen in Norway.

What makes you happy?
Seeing my family, traveling and immersing myself in new cultures, being outside, and working out.

What gets me out of bed in the morning?
My morning americano and overnight oatmeal

Best advice to a future study abroad student:
Keep an open mind to new opportunities and say yes to new adventures. While it may be scary at first, they will turn into experiences you will cherish forever!

The next thing on your bucket list?
Visit all seven continents
